Welcome to our 44th season!

The 2026-27 season features performances in Chicago and Evanston.

We celebrate Artistic Director Andrew Lewis’s 20th season with Bella Voce by bringing back some of his favorite choral programs from over the course of his tenure.

In September, Bella Voce opens the season with How To Fold the Wind, a presentation of bold contemporary works by composers such as Caroline Shaw, Veljo Tormis, Anna Thorvaldsdottir, and Matthew Recio.

In November, the seasonal tradition, Handel’s Messiah, returns to Evanston, featuring Bella Voce’s acclaimed period-instrument orchestra, the Bella Voce Sinfonia.

December’s holiday celebration, Baltic Solstice, features a program of hauntingly beautiful choral works, including Einojuhani Rautavaara’s Magnificat and Arvo Pärt’s O Antiphons.

Bella Voce’s Polyphony Camp returns in 2027 over the first weekend in February, featuring a deep dive into the Latin mass as we commune with food, friends, and music.

The season concludes in Evanston with a magical concert of great choral-organ works from the Anglican tradition, The English Cathedral, in a partnership with Opus 327, featuring the Bella Voce Chorus and St. Luke’s Opus 327 pipe organ constructed in 1922 by E.M. Skinner.
